Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ive got the replace the main Rubber Coolant pipe that runs down from the header tank to the lower part on the engine Is it easier with The Header tank and or Rear PU removed THanks

POST 2Original post

Hi I have been quoted £6,000 for this as been told the PU has to be removed I am still in a state of shock. I am interested in how you get this resloved! Cheers Alan

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am talking about removing the header tank so I can get at the pipe. THis says you need to remove the emisionds tank to do it and I am hoping theis will stop me having to remove header tank Cannot believe we are talking about the same thing. Removing rear Bumper (PU) will take you about an hour first time because of not doing it before and rust Now takes me under 20 minutes This is only the Main Rubber pipe that runs down from the Header Tank to the smaller of the two pipes that goes into the left side of the engine under the car It has two link pipes as well. Have got the book 101Projects that says some times you have to drop the engine NOT REMOVE but drop it about an inch so you can get the tank out. 01743 272030 if you want to call
