Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

That's a really good book to own! Wealth of information. I've read that Jake Raby's book is due to be released this fall. That's going to be a must have for 996 owners!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hmm, I'll keep an eye out for that. Is it part of a series, or specific to 996 only? He is the fellow from flat 6, isn't he? Is the book only about the motor and fixes to it then? Love to see books on the 991 now that the model has concluded.

POST 4Original post

I don't recommend 101 Projects. You can find all of the same information for free on Pelican's site. (It's basically just a printed version of their how-to's)

POST 5Original post

Porsche 911 Story 7th Edition by Paul Frere. Covers up through the 996.

POST 6Original post

Sorry in advance if I missed the announcement somewhere in a thread comment, but what is the latest on Jake's book ( M96 Definitive Guide)? Was it put to rest becuase of the video series?

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
