I've used Bigg Red for years on all my cars, the 996 and 844 both have had their sets fitted for years without an issue.

I've also used BCS (Brake Caliper Specialists/BCS Automotive) to do a complete refurb on a pair of 996 six pot 996 GT3 front calipers, and a complete set of 964 RS calipers, and the quality of their work was impeccable.

I haven’t used Bigg Red for Porsche brakes yet, but had them refurb lots of other brake calipers and they’ve always done a great job and given really good service.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Anyone used Bigg Red calliper seals ? Doing a job on my 996T front brakes and priced up genuine Brembo and nearly £200! Bigg Red are doing theirs for £58 (16 seals in total) I nearly always buy OEM but this company has been around a long time I think and can't find any bad words about them.
Callipers are fine and only done 13k miles but nearly 20yrs old so I thought it's time to do the seals.
I had a set of six pot 996 GT3 calipers resealed by them. More of which later ...
I asked them the same question, who supplies your seals ? are they OEM ? They were very transparent and said a Spanish company manufactures them and they supply the likes of Brembo and other OEM suppliers with seals and dust boots.

Would I use them again ? Probably not if I'm totally honest.

I recently bought a complete rebuild kit front and rear from them including pistons for my 2002 996 Carrera 4 for £181.00.. I'm in Worcester which is where they are based and found them very helpful and friendly when I visited the workshop.
Mike Brewer has used them in the past on an episode of Wheeler Dealers if you want to use that as a gauge for a recommendation
I haven’t used Bigg Red for Porsche brakes yet, but had them refurb lots of other brake calipers and they’ve always done a great job and given really good service. I fully intend to get them to do my 996 brakes if they ever need it
Well I went with the Brembo's from D911 , way more money but it's the brakes and it's a very low mileage Turbo so I'm not wanting any future buyer to be thinking servicing has been scrimped on. The box came yesterday but it'll be a few days before I get around to completing them.
Caliper paint is like new so it's just seals I'm doing (and full fluid flush)
