Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

They said it couldn't be done (the voices in my head), but here it is. I really didn't need another cup holder as I have the Sound in Motion one (great) and the Ultimate Cupholder (meh). I wanted to learn designing in Fusion 360, so I did this as a project. There are two pieces. The main body screws in place using the original hardware (if you can call plastic screws hardware). The insert narrows the opening so the can/bottle/cup is more secure. The weight of the contents rests on the top lip of the ashtray delete module, not on the plastic screws. It can fit a 20 ounce soda bottle. It's in an easy to access spot and as a plus you can now put a V8 into your 996, so more power.

Dude can you 3d print the infamous pop out cover piece for the 996 double cup holder that is constantly breaking and costs like $400 to replace. I'm sure you could make a fortune doing so. Maybe do an emboss of the porsche logo into it. Would look rad. This photo shows someones on the forum I found that broke.
i totally need that cover, mine broke and there is no glue in existence that will adhere to it
if it had PORSCHE embossed into it that would be epic
TAKE MY MONEY PLEASE
You can't go wrong with a Creality Ender3 as an entry into 3D printing. It's under $200 and there is a huge community of users that support each other. It's the best bang for the buck.
looks cool. I'm confused. If one had a printer are the files available? I looked at your link and couldn't find a file. also can you show the 2 pieces separately? does the top piece screw into the base piece? Thanks for sharing.
The link should take you to Thingiverse, where you can view the pieces individually and download the files for printing. Click "Download All Files".
The bottom piece screws into the console using the same screws and holes used by the ashtray delete. The top part fits snuggley into the bottom part. You could even leave the top part out if you had a wide container or you wanted to put your phone in there.
Using a 3D printer is not like using a paper printer, where you buy one, plug it in and your good to go. It's more of a DIY/hobbiest/hands-on type of thing, but not difficult. Luckily there are some great videos on YouTube to get you started.

thanks Bill, sounds like a fun hobby...not sure if I have the time though. I may see if my 14 year old daughter is interested. Again thanks for sharing. I had a feeling the files were available on that site.
