Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I've finally got a buyer for my GT-R, and I wanted to get the 2010 GT3. I saw a grey one at Pacific Porsche in Torrance, and I can lease it for $2,300 with $10K down. The MSRP is around $139K. Originally, I wanted to buy it, but I lost lot of money selling my GT-R (I paid too much for it), and I don't think I can sell the GT3 for more then the residual value after 36 months. One thing I wanted know is Tracking a leased car. Has anyone done it? And if I put a bolt on roll-cage in the car, would I get big fine when I return the car?? I thought the cage comes with the car, but I guess it's only for european models.

POST 2Original post

Depends who you lease it from, but the Porsche leases specifically say the car is not to be used on the track, and most others do too. So, your choice - I believe the Porsche Techquipment rollbars are bolt-in, so you can take it out before you return the car, if that's what you end up doing... there are quite a few other bolt-in roll bar solutions for 997s - contact any of the "speed shop" sponsors on here for more info. brad

POST 3Original post

Totally off topic, but may I ask why you sold the GT-R?

POST 4Original post

Most of my POC friends have GT3s and we have lot private track/race days, and it's more fun to have same vehicles. I've realized that the faster car isn't always the most fun car.
