Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Today I have a pleasure of a Mini as my car has gone into Parr for a Geo. The car had a 4 wheel alignment at OPC when I got it 1 year and 15,000 miles ago.I wanted to dial out some of the understeer and they have suggested a standard GT2 set up. Am looking forward to seeing how much difference this geo will make to the feel of the car.

POST 2Original post

do you know how much this is going to cost you, i have a 2002 C4 cab and have been quoted £185+vat for 4wheel alignment at redline racing in the north east, they reckon its the most up to date 4 wheel alignment in the country and what they use to set up the race cars

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just picked up the car and lost a few pounds in the process. People always say how different a car feels after a geo and I have always been a bit sceptical that it makes that much difference for us mere mortals. However with this standard GT2 set up the car feels very pointy and less understeery. The forecast is looking good this weekend so I will find some quiet safe empty roads and have a play, First impressions are though that it feels very different indeed and all for the better. The cost was £590 inc VAT, but this includes a brake fluid change (SRF) and some pad sensors replacing. I think the Set up alone is circa £300 + VAT
