Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Does anyone know what it is as my OPC says that there is something not right but in the month the car has been with them on and off for fixes have not resolved the issue.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, I get a knocking sound and a sensation on the steering and brakes after driving the car for an hour. The knocking dissapears once the car cools down over night. It reapperears again once driving after an hour. The knocking is random but frequent and it doesnt matter if the road is smooth as glass, going straight or turning or travelling 5 mph or 70. Am worried about this as it feels after 2 hours as something major might happen to the car, hence reluctance to drive it much. The car is a C4 Cab 02 3.6 tip. Does anyone know what it is as my OPC says that there is something not right but in the month the car has been with them on and off for fixes have not resolved the issue. cheers!
