Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Possible, but hadn't used the car for about 20 hours when I spotted it - think that would have dried in that time.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Noticed a dark patch on the road from under my car today  But it appears to be under the driver's feet area? :?: Any idea what that might be? Couldn't really smell anything strongly (rules out coolant and front diff oil I would have thought), and it was nearly dark when I noticed it so couldn't really tell what colour it was... Everything seems to be working OK, levels all normal - confused! Suggestions on a postcard please (or even better, on here!)

POST 2Original post

This might be a long shot but water from the air con??? nt sure where it drains....just a thought.....

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Possible, but hadn't used the car for about 20 hours when I spotted it - think that would have dried in that time. I also thought of drain for interior air vent at bottom of screen, but it hadn't rained all afternoon either. Have to have a proper look in the morning.

POST 5Original post

Condensation overnight and it runs down the drainage channels, had it with the Audi a3 and both the 911's.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Got busy painting doors, sanding window frames and sealing home-office roof today and forgot to look! Could be condensation I suppose, but at 5:00 pm on a day with no rain?
