I've since replaced the transponder, key fob, immobilizer, and ecu with new or rebuilt from ecu doctors.

How do I check the the tach to make sure it functions?

The car had water damage. When I bought the car, it would not crank. I've since replaced the transponder, key fob, immobilizer, and ecu with new or rebuilt from ecu doctors. The car now cranks and seems to fire twice per revolution but will not start. I've changed the crankshaft position sensor and the fuel pump. There is fuel in the rails but I have yet to check the pressure. All coils test good. I read on a thread that the tach will bounce if the crankshaft positions sensor is good. Is that true? How do I check the the tach to make sure it functions? I have a Durametric but am not sure how to use most of its functions. I am very good using the Durametric to test flashing lights, turning on fans and scaring my wife with the horn. But, most of the other functions are out of my league. Can the Durametric test the crankshaft position sensor and other sensors? Anyone have other suggestions for getting the car started? Thanks very much.
