Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hi, My 2007 Cayman S headliner is drooping badly, and need to repair or replace. I would like to know if anyone can recommend a good shop to do this in the Reno Carson Valley area. If nothing in that area, I will consider shops in Sacramento CA. I would rather find a competent place near home (Carson Valley) or even Reno. I appreciate any recommendations. I have already left a message with the Reno Porsche dealership, but I expect that to be quite costly. Thank you, Phil

POST 3Original post

wherever you end up going I would get multiple estimates, I got mine replaced near San Jose last summer and the bid spread was ~75%. To find the three shops I got quotes from I talked to my indy mechanic as well as folks in the local PCA chapter. The shops did not need to see the car to give me a quote.
