Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Install by sid spanner' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install by sid spanner' (1 discussions). Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have first refusal on a second hand unit.
Has anyone recently bought or sold a PCM2 unit without SatNav. I am looking to try and establish a fair price (996.642.214.05) which I appreciate is a subjective matter. Doubt I would add the SatNav but would be handy to control my iPod through the Dension I have installed and can ditch the CD storage which is not used.
I presume that they are a relatively straight forward upgrade and install to my CDR23.
Thanks
Indeed I do, all fitted by Sid Spanner.
You don't lose the CD storage but the 'cubby hole'
I think it looks much better than without and would make the car more saleable (I have been told this by a dealer).......
Guess it depends on how cheap you have been offered the unit.....also make sure it has the nav module attached to it (on the back, think it's blue) as this is the most expensive piece.
Hi David,
Agree with Scott way too much there. Keep an eye out on flebay. Go for around £150-£200 without Nav.
Have you thought about a Pioneer Avic bit of kit??? Good functionality and look stock with illumination tweeking.
Alan
Yep got to agree, probably 4-5 times the price over a fleabay PCM2. They are coming down though. Although by the time I get to it will probably have a different car
Alan
When I was looking for my car I didn't go out with the intention of getting one with PCM but after seeing it thought it made the interior look a little better and am happy to have it now as it's proven useful and I've 'donated' my other Sat Nav to my girlfriend who has a shocking sense of direction.....typical woman!
