Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I drove my CS to work at our training facility in northern Westchester last week instead of commuting in via train to the city as I normally do. This was my first drive in "work clothes" and I wore my work shoes, which are only size 10.5 but felt big and clunky on the pedals.
Normally I'm in my driving sneakers, so I wondered, what do those of you who drive daily wear on your feet? Do you carry driving shoes in the car and change? Or do you manage in your typical work footwear attire?

Nothing special for me. What ever I have on at the time including cowboy boots a lot of the time. Competition driving is of course different.

Hi basch. You missed a good run last weekend. Hope to meet up with you
next
time. I think the work shoes were uncommon to you because you haven't done it before. I'm a DD and I too have a 10 1/2 wide foot. I wear my work shoes all the time while driving, sneakers, but on the weekends bare feet is the best. Last week I even drove home from the golf course with my golf shoes still on.
You'll get used to it....
it's kinda funny that this topic just came up . two days ago , i bought a pair of Nike Free 7.0 sneakers to use at the gym .i wore them yesterday while i was driving and was totally impressed . they are almost as comfy as slippers and feel great negotiating the pedals in the car.
I wear a "deck shoe" made by H.S. Trask. It has a rounded "driving shoe" heel. I just got a pair of H.S. Trask driving
sandles
. So far I am pretty pleased with them. (no socks with either
)
One of the perks of my techie job is a very lax dress code, I can even wear shorts to work. Today I'm in jeans and wearing some Diesel casual/sneaker type shoes on my feets.
Have you looked into Piloti driving shoes with the quick lace system (elastic shock cords instead of laces)? The go on an off with ease and the design of the shoe is much more comfortable for driving than sneakers.
Alan
Personally I was hugely disappointed with the Piloti Monacos I ordered. They didn't fit super good but aside from that the materials quality was below what I expected from a specialty shoe. Overall construction was just not up to par. I could see glue on one seam and the stitching was poor. Overall it looked like a knock-off shoe. Sure it has some nice features but in my opinion its not a high end product. I would recommend getting a brand-name shoe over a Piloti.
I just bought the Prototipo Piloti's. They suit me since they have an exteded area on the side for heel toe action and also the heel area is wide and padded for excessive duration driving. They are very comfortable and light...so are my sneekers. Bottom line is that its personal preference!
Driving Shoes....
ON MY CLUTCH FOOT I WEAR A RUBBER SOLED CLOG SINCE I'M ONLY 5'2" IT HELPS MY FOOT FROM GETTING CRAMPS AND MY RIGHT IS BAREFOOT SO THAT I CAN ACTUALLY FEEL THE GAS PEDAL.....
Kaywman,
Please note that you have less than 2 days to complete your registration for Croctoberfest or else your hotel room is going to be cancelled. I've tried email, PM and phone and have been unable to reach you. This is your most recent post so I'm hoping you will come back to this topic thread and see this message.
For those of you who are stuck with dress shoes during the week as I am, check out the Alan Edmonds Driver sole stuff. They look great but have a very good sole with a driver lug pattern. About 225.00. I wear them everyday and have done so since they came out about a year or so ago. Very comfortable. I have 3 pairs with another pair on order.Johnson Murphy is also coming out with some more casual/driver stuff but some of it is real trash. The price indicates the quality.
For the Piloti fans out there they are back. I believe that they went out of business a few years ago, came back about a year ago with some promises and a website, got some Canadian Tire money, and are now making new shoes. I ordered a pair (which seem to be made to order) a few months ago with the expected shipment this month.
from 2007 to 2015
i have a pair of the puma - narrow as heck. I am from Hawaii (no clogs) so i wear rubba slippas alot.

I checked today and they say June now. They also only have narrow size and now women sizes yet. They have been advertising but seem to be rolling out slowly. I hope things pick up.
