Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, What is the best way to remove the middle oil filler tube? I am having trouble with the clamp that is near the fire wall. I tried to get to it from the bottom while laying on my back, with the car on a quick jack. No way I can reach it like that. From the top I can't seem to get my clamp tool onto the clamp. I see they all go into the trunk, is there a way to get to the clamp from the trunk? Or will I have to take the whole coolant reservoir out to go this route? Thanks in advance.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That is what I'm trying to use. I guess I'll just keep at it.

POST 4Original post

Patience is the key. Walk away when necessary and come back to it when ready. This was essential when I replaced the coolant tank. Patience along with JP’s tool suggestion will get you there. Good luck.

POST 5Original post

I found that I had to rotate the clip to a position where I was able to get it with the clamp tool. I think I used a long screwdriver lubricated with patience and colourful language.
