Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm assuming it would stop before it actually used the last litre.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The fuel tank capacity of a 996 is 64 litres, incl 10 litres 'reserve'. How much fuel could you use til it died? I'm assuming it would stop before it actually used the last litre.

POST 2Original post

My reserve light came on in Calais, crossed on the train, went to fill up in Folkstone and for the petrol station you had to filter off to the right! :x When normal people were looking to the left for it GRRRRRRRRRR Anyway i had to do 27 miles up the M20 till the next'un. Was slightly cacking it. Filled up and it drank £58 worth! Never before had got more than £54 in it, so it WAS very low.

POST 3Original post

The most I ever put in mine was just over 60 litres

POST 4Original post

I've got as far as 63 litres once with the needle deep in the red and 0 miles showing on the computer, which had been 0 miles for a while !

POST 5Original post

How far do Mini Coopers go Sundeep???

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Blimey, we have a record... given that the tank capacity if 64l you really were on fumes!
