Is it simple enough to remove the casette holder in my 996tt? Whats behind it once its removed? Is it nasty do I need a new tray fitted? I dont want to put the cd holder in I need the extra cubby space for my road andel etc. Thanks

the slots are generally standard size and can be replaced with a standard "empty space" replacement. I've ditched the cassette holder on mine after replacement with a cd unit and the tape holder is now a hole for storage, but of course neater. try your local ICE specialist or dare i say it halfrauds.....
