Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I would be shocked ifPorsche displayed the Cayman at Anaheim, but do let us know if it is there and I will run over to see it in the sheet metal.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Does anyone know if Porsche is showing the Cayman S at the auto show in Anaheim CA??? Didn't see any info online about it, and the tv shows had a couple of covered cars that coulda been but they did not have time to reveal them. Not sure I could make it down but am going to try and take off Fri, and make the trip.

POST 2Original post

I'm going to go look today- I'll let you know.

POST 3Original post

I would be shocked ifPorsche displayed the Cayman at Anaheim, but do let us know if it is there and I will run over to see it in the sheet metal. Porsche NA plans to have the North American debut of the Cayman simultaneously at Detroit, the North American International Auto Show, http://www.naias.com/ ,and the Los Angeles Auto Show. With cars delivered to November build customers after the North American Auto Show: http://www.laautoshow.com/2005/index.aspx

POST 4Original post

I am told the Cayman will debut at the Detroit Auto Show with deliveries to US customers beginning January 16. /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/dance.gif

POST 5Original post

Below is a link to an Interview with Mr. Fred Schwab, President & CEO of PCNA. http://www.968.net/pressroom/schwab_interview.htm It was obviously done years ago, but I found it very interesting, especially the discussion about the various markets in the world for Porsche. Note that Southern California is the single biggest market for Porsche, so I do expect to see the Caymanat theLA show, which runs at the same time as the NAIS in Detroit. I also hope to beexpect to be driving my Cayman to that show!

POST 6Original post

I went to Anaheim today and Porsche wasn't even represented...

POST 7Original post

I did se a Z06 though... WOW!!! Made me think twice about spending more on Cayman for sure!!! When I mentioned mid-engine, my dad told me it has 47/53 weight bias.... He has a Ford GT on order and he's think of getting a Z06 and $100k in his pocket instead... I just want a Porsche. Never owned one and gotta try one. And I'd rather have a Cayman than a 911.

POST 8Original post

Well sounds like I will save my vacation day then. I will wait for the L.A. auto show. Until then, if I can find a Z06, will have to take my 'Corvette's Only' friend and go take a look. However, I STILL WANT A PORSCE!!!!! so would not buy the Z06 anyway but would be good to go take a look for sure.
