Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Generally prefer smaller wheels and a bit more sidewall but considering swapping the twists for a set of 997 19s.
Accepted wisdom on the 993 was to stick to 17s but unsure if the same thinking applies here.
Apologies if covered elsewhere, I did check the FAQs. Feel free to point me towards the appropriate thread.
996 was 17s and 18s
its also about the correct tyre selection
your car your choice as the 997 19s can fit as long as the tyre profile is adjusted down to match the 996 size

Age old debate. I've run 18's and 19's with various tyres. Verdict.... depends more on tyre type/age than the actual size of the rim. In the real world on normal roads you won't tell much difference. So many variables including suspension and wheel alignment. I say go for it and dial everything in accordingly. Oh and I drive on deserted roads with relatively poor surface and erm......well let's just say it gets driven bloomin hard so I'm not just talking about cruising down a seafront. Anyway just my opinion.
