Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Down for a Jan build, and dealer (UK) says he needs the spec (and presumably more money!) in the next couple of weeks - seems very early for a Jan build, but is this right? If so, why so early? He's also sent me an options list, and has scribbled on the base price, which he says is £44080. Now, it started off being £43930, and then seemed to go down to £43133 (on the porsche.co.uk site) and now the dealer is quoting £44080!! What's going on, and what is correct? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

My order sheet is: Top Tint £57.87 Base Car £36708.93 Partial Leather £620.43 All +Vat and that is it for Then £203 Road Fund Licence Total = £44,133 OTR (For you Yanks, that's around $79,500 for a BASE car!) So all those numbers add up, but it looks like you just got charged £150 RFL Jack Edited by - JackWood on 10/06/2005 1:15:52 PM

POST 5Original post

Why are you folks paying $20,000 more for the Cayman? Does it have to do with the value of money?

POST 6Original post

Because EVERYTHING is more expensive in the UK!! Do you know that we pay almost $8/gallon for petrol (gasoline)???!!!!!!
