Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I know a guy who in the midwest to keep his horses warm in the barn during the coldest days and nights uses couple of the oil filled radiant heaters.

When I lived in Edmonton, AB for a while, I used a heater that was placed inline with the radiator hose.

Suggestion
If the car is parked in an enclosed space, like an unheated garage, I like Wickedgood911's suggestion about the utility light if you can find one that still uses an incandescent bulb.

Suggestion
Although technically not a heater, growing up we would use a utility light (within a cage) and place that next to the block overnight to radiate heat into the engine.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

There must be some sort of blanket or device which replaces the dipstick and warms the oil internally out there in the world of car accessories.
I hope this at least gets your thought process moving.
Some owners who live and use their Porsches in the cold regions report the engine is fine with no heater. Be sure to use Mobil 1 0w-40 though.
I do not recall if there is a factory block heater option for the car that could be retro-fitted.
There are aftermarket heaters, ProHeat and Wolverine IIRC, that might meet your needs if you want to fit something to the engine. There are some issues with these types of heaters though. They need proper fitting to do their job and not subject the car to an engine fire.

Another possibility would be to use a radiant electric heater in the garage, in effect heating, well, warming the car by heating the garage. I know a guy who in the midwest to keep his horses warm in the barn during the coldest days and nights uses couple of the oil filled radiant heaters. (I gave him a pair when I moved away from the midwest.) These heaters have no moving parts, but put out quite a bit of heat due to their large surface area. There are various sizes. I have two in my apartment and use them instead of the built in heater. The brand name is Optimus.

Back in my day of piston aircraft we had plug-in electric heaters that were bonded (epoxy maybe?) to the bottom of the oil pan, worked well in the cold north Canadian winters. I believe the manufacture was Tanis.
