Some motors like some BMW motors actually run better with NGK's though.

I know this topic has been beat up throughout the years as I have read alot of different post, but trying to get a more current thought on what is better to use? Just passed 60k miles and all major work was completed by dealer before i purchased a couple months ago per service records (belt, fluids, etc) but plugs not listed. Going to be changing out and was wondering what u guys recommend these days?? 03 Porsche 991 4s..

I went with factory Bosch because they were factory. Porsche has fitted Bosch and Beru over the years. Presumably there is more info about those two brands in 996s than other brands, but honestly I'm not sure that it is going to make a huge difference either way. I do know that it is a major PITA to get at them though, so you don't want to be changing them out all the time

My vote is NGK. Most here will say OEM or bust. So that's Bosch or Beru.

I got OEM Beru's out of availability and convenience but I usually get NGK's. it's not really gonna matter one way or the other on the m96 engine. Some motors like some BMW motors actually run better with NGK's though.
