Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

All went well once I'd managed to crack off the old nut at the bottom (penetrating fluid, breakers var and swearing did the trick).
21 yo C4S on the original mounts, it’s probably time to replace them as a nice winter project. Looking on D911, OE Match are £87, an OEM Supplier are £135 and Porsche are £277. Each. Realistically are there differences between these 3 apart from the price? Given the originals lasted 20 years they’re good value but not if I’m paying 3 times as much for the same thing. Your thoughts are appreciated!
I replaced mine a 18 months ago with parts supplied by RockAuto in the US (REIN AVE0382P) a lot of digging around I found that these were debadged Porche OEM units. Circa £87.50 each and supplied from the US in 5 days. Closer inspection and I couldn't tell them apart from the original ones I took off. Noticeable improvement in handling and gearchange.
to be honest any new engine mounts would work a treat
Have fitted a set of the mentioned OEM Match and car was fine

Wrapping this up, Type 911 sent me the engine mount kit on Friday and they went in today. All went well once I'd managed to crack off the old nut at the bottom (penetrating fluid, breakers var and swearing did the trick). The only issue was the top bolts I'd been sent were about 1cm too long, I couldn't get them to seat before they ran out of thread. I ended up reusing the original ones and all is good.
The old ones were just starting to split so probably good timing. Gear changes now feel better. Next up, short shift kit...
