If the current warrenty is a normal OPC one then you can just renew it in December - no need for a 111 point check I believe.

I should be getting my first Porsche next week, a 1999 C2 996 with 42k miles, and have a query about warranty and the 111 point check The car has OPC warranty that expires in December but it's going into an OPC for a 111 point check on Tuesday.
