Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Aside from the wheels offered by the Victor equipment (Turismo), what is the best budget deep dish wheels/rims for 996 in your opinion? Cheers, Zackman

POST 3Original post

What are 'vector' wheels? and what is your mission? Track?, Street only? or?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Pardon my spelling mistake; it is Victor equipment. The wheels are only for daily driving purposes (no tracking). Cheers, Zackman

POST 5Original post

look for flow forged wheels, like forgestar or rohanna, they are better than cast wheels

POST 7Original post

I have Victors on my car and love the look but there have been many reports of them breaking on the track.

POST 8Original post

IMO best choices are used wheels. I've been bitten many times by knock offs that bend under the slightest road issues; not to mention cracking. Wait for a superior quality wheel that comes your way second hand. .50 on the dollar is not that uncommon for used parts.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Folks: Thank you for your replies. I personally had Victor wheels (Lemans) on my Cayman-S for two years; absolutely no problem. At $230 US ($315 Can), they were fantastic looking and flawless. I think I will go with their Turismo this time. BTW, I do not consider Kinesis wheels at $750 US as "budget" wheels! Thanks again! Zackman
