We also used a simple test speaker to verify the + and - speaker feeds. In the end it worked pretty good, other than once when I accidently touched the two power leads and blew a fuse.

I ended up making a custom connector using a 9-pin connector for computer hardware plus a couple of spade connectors for the power wires.

I have a 2005 Boxster S with PCM 2.1 and Bose Surround Sound. The previous owner had cut out and removed the bassbox from the rear deck. I have acquired a bassbox but I don't have the matching plug from the Bose wiring harness. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or can provide a picture of the plug from the harness side? I am getting there. I found this diagram on this site that explains the pin out wiring from the amp. I now know what are the wires leading to the bassbox. Now I need to find out how they map to the bassbox View attachment 32200 Can someone take a picture and post it of the male 12-pin plug (harness side)? Thanks.

Well, working with a friend who is smart on stereos, I was able to get my bassbox reconnected. I ended up making a custom connector using a 9-pin connector for computer hardware plus a couple of spade connectors for the power wires. I had to take the box apart to trace all the wires to verify how it all wires together. We also used a simple test speaker to verify the + and - speaker feeds. In the end it worked pretty good, other than once when I accidently touched the two power leads and blew a fuse. The custom 9-pin connector is a little fragile and care will be needed when disconnecting the bassbox. For future reference, here is the pin out arrangement for the Bose subwoofer wiring harness: 1 - Amp power + 2 - Amp power - 3 - Subwoofer remote 4 - Subwoofer + 5 - Subwoofer - 8 - Rear Right - 9 - Rear Right + 10 - Rear Left + 11 - Rear Right -

I also have Bose subwoofer box issues.Maybe you can help.I have a 2005 Boxster s with Bose speaker system.i bought an Alpine head unit,an a 5channel Infinity amp (had place i purchased them install them).The subs in back arent working.An im trying to trace them.Did the connect to original head unit.Since they have their own amp or were they wired to original am in front trunk.My new amp has the two door subs connected to it.But not rear subs.The Alpine head unit only has RCA sub out.Which goes to new amp.So i dont know where rear sub wiring ends up or where it should go. Any info would be of great help.Thanks
