Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all My sun roof keeps playing up and not functioning properly. I need to raise it before being able to slide it back, have reprogrammed by holding the centre button - it then works on one click eith retracting or closing but after one open and then close it defaults to not opening unless I raise it (And then I need to hold the retract button down to open it. Is there something I can do (Took to garage, no error codes) - or is this a new motor? Thanks

POST 3Original post

There is a reset process - I’d try that first. Mine went weird recently, going backwards and forwards on its own when the close button was pressed. I found the rubber edging on the deflector strip had come off. Re-glued it with PU adhesive and went through the reset process and its been fine since. When I get some time I’m going to put some PTFE dry lube on the operating cable.
