Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all... I notice that the amount offered from wbac has fallen steeply this year. I check every 6 months and currently offered 6.8k when it was 9.8k 6 months ago and 11k before that. Same mileage entered 127k 996.2 auto cab

POST 2Original post

Agree ! It’s not a reflection of the true value of the car just a trend of the market. Will need antidepressants looking at it :nooo:

POST 3Original post

On WBAC, my GT3 has dropped 13% in 3 months. Think there is an adjustment coming to the market across many cars. Interestingly, my Cayman has not changed value at all on WBAC in the past 3 months.

POST 4Original post

I put my details in to see what they would offer for my GT3, 3k more than Brooklands offered in 2012 to trade for a 997.2 GT3

POST 5Original post

It's not their market. They don't want a 20-25 year old Porsche that could need more spending on prep to retail than it's value, let alone than any profit, hence why auctions are not bidding on them. Same with early 997's too. Covid was a blip, that is over. They want cars that are either young enough to need little prep or valuable enough to allow it. Add in the free money that was given out through Covid and things are not just going to go back to normal, but it will probably get very messy before it gets better.

POST 6Original post

:floor: They valued my 981GT4 at £35k. I sold it private for nearly double that Forget WBAC for 'specialist' cars, they have no idea of the valuing algorithm that prices the extras buyers will pay for. Mainstream vehicles they're worth a punt if you want the dough quick.
