Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

How could I find out the production numbers of all 996's made in 1999? I'm trying to find out how many guards red were made that year. Thanks...

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not to sure that I underhand your reply, haha..

POST 4Original post

Me neither. I don't remember ever seeing a breakdown based on color. If I were guessing I would say around 10%, but that's just a WAG.

POST 5Original post

Is the answer 100? I hear that is significant somehow... Seriously though, the best I've seen is broken down to cab/coupe and model levels. I don't think I've even seen tip a stick numbers.

Well he did say Guards red and you do seem to have an affinity for that color.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seems like any other car manufacture does have a break down besides Porsche? I've built Mustang's for over 10 years and Ford breaks down year, model, design, color, and even interior for each year. It's cool, I'm just curious on how many Guards red were made that year.

I would bet money on Porsche having the information, they just seem to be much more protective of stuff like that than other MFGs.

I nominate this for the understatement of the year
