Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, Can someone please tell me roughly what this is worth (to buy, private sale): 996 Targa Tip no sat nav 03 silver/black 1 owner HPI reports accident, but it's very minor (superficial damage to front bumper) UK car 45k miles not massive spec needs service out of warranty very, very clean car I've known the car since new Also, will it massively de-value after it does more than 50k miles. I'd suggest 34-35k? Maybe less?

POST 2Original post

That sounds a bit pricy to me. I sold my 03 plate manual with 28,000 miles, recent service and 12 months warranty and some decent extras (but not sat nav) back in June for £35k, so I'd guess that one would be worth £30k especially bearing in mind that the prices always deflate in winter.

this is what it's got: carbon pack PSM 6 disk + CD bluetooth phone park assist bose CD

POST 6Original post

I would have thought early 30's but then I am biased. ~ Maxie

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, thanks for the reply. You've given me an idea of where I need to be. Sounds like 29-31k, somewhere around there. Any views on the 50k+ mileage depreciation. Maxie - what was the outcome of your breakdown after the belt failed?

POST 8Original post

Maxie - what was the outcome of your breakdown after the belt failed? It was towed to West London OPC where they had to order parts from Porsche AG. The belt, bolts plus fitting cost about £110. I also got a new clutch while the RMS was being seen to as well. Seems to be all fine now. ~ Maxie
