Have 2005 996 Turbo S and have noticed the yellow brake caliper has a small chip in the paint and slightly scratched. Anyone recommend who could refurbish as understand powder coated with heat resistant paint? Chris D

brain @ jasmin can help you. though they do get chipped all the time, so does the nose of the car.

Not that far from Reading then - worth asking Specialised (paintshop) as they do calipers. Located behind OPC Reading.

Getting mine done by specialised in a couple of weeks (Asim, RobB thanks for the recommendation). They don't dismantle (mask off car, prep and respray) £85 per caliper. Car will be with them for 3 days Logos reapplied and have been assured will be undistiguishable from original. Top chaps, very helpful and knowledgable - with a lot of very expensive cars in the workshop Astons, etc.. (which is always good to see). Will let you know how I get on.
