Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

And another - there is probably a better way to do this with higher resolution images, but they will suffice for the moment.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Having been a PCGB member and largely passive observer on the site for over a year, I thought I better break cover having finally purchased something relevant. A 2003 996 C4S from RSJ in Slough. Joel, Darren and Martin have been a pleasure to deal with - everything their reputation suggested, and ideal for someone who wanted to de-risk the process. 2 months on, and although it is only used at weekends the kids and wife love it - as do I. I don't think I will tire of the looks or the noise. What I wanted to say though was that the information, knowledge and experience on this forum (and another well known one) gave me enough confidence to bite the bullet and jump. Having made the leap, I am now wondering why it took me so long to do so - the whole experience is just brilliant! Thanks to all - Mark
