I cannot get a a good radio signal from my CDR-23 stereo on my 2003 996. I can't get a consistent signal for stations like Capital and Heart even in all area's around London. I also have had an iPlug iPod connection system fitted as well which is "hard wired" into 87.7FM...and the signal for this isn't great either. Has anyone else had a similar problem. Could the radio signal booster, which I assume the system must have, be on the blink?

My CDR 23 never had any issues with getting the London stations and I'm by Gatwick so there may be something wrong with it....... My ITrip also worked fine but on 87.9
I'm getting rid of mine for a whole bunch of reasons in favor of a Kenwood 7200. It's being fitted tomorrrow and I'll let you know what it's like once installed. Ray
Yes I can honestly say the Kenwood is a huge improvement on the CDR23. Getting rid of the Porsche amp also leaves a bit of space in the boot. Getting the unit professionally fitted was a good decision, as well as getting advice from our forum mates.
