Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am on a road trip across the country and noticed that my oil pressure gauge is pegged at above 5, unless am at idle. Then it reads about 1 bar, which is correct. But the moment I rev engine it jumps to above 5. Along with that, I have noticed that at times it will bonce between 3-4 and 5 a few times, then peg back out above 5. Checked oil level, its within specs. Any ideas on where to start to diag this issue? Brian
