Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Dear all, For three years I am a proud owner of 987.2 CS. Car have been amazing since the first drive, and it never fails to put a smile on my face. My only complain would be the lack of "punch" around 3k revs. I have been looking to start making gentle changes on a car. In this process I have run onto FVD's "stage 2 " package ( FVD Tuning Kit 987.2 Cayman S - 3.4 L - Level 2 - 350 HP / 294 TQ - Street ). Matching base 991.1 power (it has, more or less, the same engine) and getting a bit more sound in cabin (as it does not have a PSE) would be more then a welcome benefit Anyone have any experience with FVD? This would be the first step in some more gentle modifications I want to make during coming years. Chears!

POST 2Original post

FVD has been tuning Porsches since the 80's, including their race cars. ( History | FVD Brombacher ) I believe Porsche is the only manufacturer they support. I put a tune on my '12 CS before I sold it, and was very glad I did. Rhonda is their US sales rep, and is super knowledgeable. In corresponding with Rhonda and then subsequently talking with her, she provided a lot of insight into the performance gains I should expect and how they were achieved. She was also very helpful in answering the few questions I had about installing their software. Highly recommended!!

POST 3Original post

Have you noticed improvements after ECU tune (based on your individual feeling) especially in regards to flat torque curve that OEM engine has around 3-4k revs? Thanl you for your insight!
