Power appears to come on MUCH quicker now, based on the butt dyno there is no doubt there is a difference in either the HP/Torque curves and likely an increase.

So over the weekend I installed factory headers modified with 200 cell HJS cats from Carnewal Gert from Carnewal is great to deal with, this is not the first thing I have purchased from him. I have to say I was shocked at how little the exhaust noise level and note changed on my 987.2 CS with PSE . That being said the increase in performance was very noticeable. I noticed it got better as time driving went on. The single most notable thing is the increased low end power. Power appears to come on MUCH quicker now, based on the butt dyno there is no doubt there is a difference in either the HP/Torque curves and likely an increase. Next I will be going some sort of tune route to take further advantage of the higher flowing cats. All and all good stuff with no lights being triggered and a nice easy swap, I am pleased. Honestly, if it came with a bit more growl I would be even happier but that is on the factory PSE more than anything. Anyone considering any product from Gert I would highly recommend him.

On that note, there seems to be some torque gains with 200 Cell cats and stock exhaust , I'm sure I've read it somewhere, but this is the only thread that comes as close to what I'm looking to ask, is there an additional power gain from a) 200Cell Cat + stock exhaust to b) 200 Cell Cat + PSE on a 987.2 car and 981 ?

I had the 200 cell cats installed. I also have PSE . I can tell a small difference in lower torque. The sound is the same or not as loud perhaps. If I had to do it again, I would not have wasted my time. $1,400 plus $600 installation and I still have a CEL. The power gains are not really relevant on the street. I'm not sure why everyone praises this mod as being a great way toward louder sound, but I regret it. I was thinking about having a local shop fabricate a straight cat-back system with small resonators for around $1,000 and wish I went that route. I've driven almost 300 miles, so it is possible they are still breaking in. Someone here mentioned that. I'd prefer not to have to put extra miles on my car to see if there is a small improvement in sound.
