Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

A suspension change does make a sporting difference, but worth getting used to the OEM unless they are already old
Leading evidence: 'Replace does make a sporting difference' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace does make a sporting difference' (1 discussions). Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi,
Its been a week since I picked up my C2 (Carrera) I will begin my saying that I'm really enjoying it, great acceleration, great handling, just a first class piece of engineering!
Please forgive these basic questions / observations but being my first 911 and new to the model I'm just beginning to feel my way around it and would appreciate your comments ...
1. Water temp seems to settle around 80 / 90, nearer 80 when pottering, rises to 90 if having some fun. Sounds fine to me, I guess that's the norm?
2. Oil pressure once warm settles just above 1 bar at tick over and 4-5 driving. I'm assuming this is normal for the model?
3. I was wondering whether or not to fit something like a K&N panel air filter but would this in isolation make any difference to the cars performance?
4. Whilst I have no immediate problem with the suspension (it's standard) but I was wondering about the benefits / how easy it is to stiffen / lower things slightly, I've seen references to 'sports springs' for example. What are the various options for improving a standard cars handling (mainly road)?
5. My car has the upgraded 10 speaker stereo which to be honest as a hi-fi enthusiast I think is left wanting, are there any well known upgrades? drive units would be my first port of call ...
6. I don't know if this is a common problem but my drivers door rattles, or at least something within it does! Is removing the door card tricky?
Thanks
Hi there and welcome
1. Normal
2. Normal
3. You may get a bhp or two but no noticable difference in isolation
4. A suspension change does make a sporting difference, but worth getting used to the OEM unless they are already old
5. Porsche audio is not very good, there are quite a few threads on audio upgrades
6. Shouldnt rattle, worth checking.
Don't know what mileage yours has, but my old one with 28,000 on the clock used to tick over at nearer 2 bar.
When removing the door card, be careful not to damage the waterproof membrane.
Hi
Had mine a week too !! Great isn`t it ??
1. Same
2. About 2 although slightly higher after today`s service
6. Mines the same but only over really bad bumps !!
Mine is also quite noisy from the rear tyres but a couple of threads seem to point to worn rear tyres (mine have about 3 mm left ) or maybe change to Michelins ( mine are Dunlops )
Also engine cover seems to bang over severe bumps, gonna have a look at that tomorrow ( Tips anyone )
