Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T130754Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Do you have to get all works done at an OPC centre to keep the warranty valid?

POST 4Original post

A few Indy's are recgonised by OPC, as I've had interim services at JZ Machtech which hasnt effected the warranty. However for all the main services it visits the OPC.

POST 5Original post

Its one of those tricky ones this. No need to have brakes etc done at OPC. but servicing? Well I used to have the OPC do it. By law you are allowed to have your car serviced anywhere as long as its done to schedule and using Porsche parts. But, and it is a big but, there is always that goodwill business. I think that if something is borderline covered by the warranty then if you use them for servicing then they are more likely to fight your corner with Porsche for you. Worth its weight in gold that one I reckon. Plus, the be fair, bog standard servicing at OPC is not that expensive. My BM cost more! Just get the remedial work done elsewhere.

POST 6Original post

I think it has to be servicing only. All other work can be done at a indy. But I would think Porsche would like to see Porsche parts used should any warranty work be required.
