Hi all. I am currently looking into getting some better seats for my 2008 987.1 base cayman . My wife hates the lack of cushion the bottom and sadly I agree. Are there any good options as far as a more comfortable seat?

I have a 987.1 Cayman S . I have the sport seats option, they have a bit deeper bolsters. I find the pretty comfortable. I'm not sure how they differ as far as cushioning goes. I do wish that I could find a way to mount the seats a bit lower. I'm normally fine on head room, but I hit the ceiling with a helmet on. Does anyone know of a seat mount or modification that might help with this?

The sport seats in the 944 were the real deal with thick leather that when properly cared for would last for years. they used less aggressive bolsters than modern sports seats, a real nice balance. I like my sport buckets a lot, they are actually fantastic on a trip, reducing fatigue more than I would have imagined. And the leather is soft and high quality but it's far less robust and thin like glove leather. I use generous amounts of chemical Guy's vitamin E leather cream to keep them pristine and supple as I can.
