Ordered the lighted door sills for my Cayman S.... Dealership installed them today,... WOW...very nice Mod.. Cost me 1005 total... Worth it I think... Anyone else have these?

I have them on my Carmon red and I love them. Really stands out at night. The illumination color can't be changed to my knowledge. There are pictures in my gallery for those who want to take a look.

I just wish Porsche would offer some undercarriage neon lighting. Blue or orange would look cool. Yeah, right. Guys, I know it's a factory option, but aren't we "pimping ze auto" here? How long/often do you have your door open at night? To each his own, I guess. Enjoy your cars and don't mind me.

Haha, I was about to rant until I saw that you were being sarcastic. whew! The last thing I need to see is a riced out Cayman S. I think the door sills are cool though. The illumination color is white, matching the interior lights. Not indigo blue like those aftermarket ones.

If you ordered them I'm sure you love them. But I thought they might seem too cutesy. Instead I ordered the straight aluminum door sill, less flashy. My 2 cents. -sjd

Actually, I didn't order mine. My sales associate offered them to me...no charge.I graciously accepted. I don't think lighted sills would have been a great priority with me but who amongst us is going to look the proverbial gift horse in the mouth. Swampcroc
