i just had it happen today , similar but regarding the engine oil , "check engine oil " message appeared for a few minutes then disappeared .

First let me say, I love this car! So it is frustrating to have a repeat issue. My brake fuild warning messege keeps displayinginspite of there being no physical issue. I have had the computer reset twice and now it has happened again. Anyone else had any similar issue?

MGehring - If they've reset your computer, my guess is the next step is to replace the ECU ... talk to your dealer and tell them this continues to happen despite the ECU resets... brad

rami - it could be your oil is a little low, and if you were going up or down a hill it might give you a warning. Keep and eye on it, and the next time you get in the car after it's been sitting for more than 30 minutes, do an oil level measurement (do this before you start the car, and make sure you're on a good and level spot) and see what it says. These motors live and die on the oil system, so you should be checking your oil level at least once a week, if the car is a daily driver. Check out page 110 (at least that's what page it's on in the US version, I don't know where you're located) in your owner's manual. brad

Brake fluid warning light The brake fluid warning light illuminated on my car within the first two weeks. I returned it to the dealer and watched them check the fluid. It was low about 60ml (2 tablespoons) and they said that was enough to trigger the light. They refilled the fluid and all was well for about 5 months when the light came back on. In addition I had noticed a few drops of fluid on the garage floor. When I checked the brake fluid level, the reservoir was almost empty. The leak was from the clutch slave cylinder that runs off of the brake system. It was replaced by the dealer and all is well so far.
