Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I bougt my 07 CS on 12/4 I drove about 500 miles between then and the 18th never even turned on the stereo (car sounds way too good) I went on vacation for a few weeks and got back yesterday. Got in the car this morning to go for a ride and figured I would take some CD's to see how the stereo sounded. The first cd i popped in worked ok for a few songs and started skipping,I thought mmm Bad CD so I ejected it and put in another, started skipping almost immediatelly and then on to #3 also skipping.I shut it off and enjoyed the engine sound for the rest of the ride. When I got back i inspected all 3 CD's no scratches dirt or anything.I am going back to the dealer next week to have some scratches taken care of and will ask them to check out the cd player but has anybody else had this prob?

POST 2Original post

There have been a couple of cases of this posted. Dealer replaced unit and all was well as I remember.

POST 3Original post

I got the 6 disc CD changer. When I first used it, it seemed to skip. What I found was, it was apparently in a mode that plays a song for about 5 seconds and then goes to the next song. I pushed the MENUE button and the CD player has been playing correctly ever since.
