This comes up every now and then and I thought I would post my findings here. I was looking for an easy and clean phone holder and charging solution for my 996 and my iphone (magsafe models). The best solution I found is using a brodit phone holder with their tilt swivel magsafe mount. I then spent a fair amount of time looking for a black magsafe charger because the white stood out was really horrible. Apple does not sell one unfortunately and there are only a handful of them on the market (amazon). Out of them only one is the same diameter than the Apple one, the rest are bigger and don't fit the brodit mount... I saw on ebay someone sell a 3D printed usb plug that fits in the ash tray or dashboard button slot which seems like a nice solution. The other alternative is to hardwire a usb port that would come out of one of the storage box or something. Any suggestion/solution would be greatful!
