Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261027T075545Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am in need of a head for 1-3 drivers side of a 1999 911. Any reasonably priced ones around or any damaged ones that someone is looking to sell. Thank you!!!

POST 2Original post

Ebay has some for about $900, but vertexauto has it for $1,600 with a $500 core for a rebuilt one. I'm no expert, but I bet you won't find them much cheaper here. Why do you need a new cylinder head?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I purchased a used 99 911 that the head had a minor crack on. The shop that the previous owner took it to scraped the head. I would have sent it off for repair or at least used it as a core, but now I have everything for the car minus the 1-3 head...

POST 4Original post

Someone was selling a brand new head for $1500 about a year or so ago. Use the search function to find the thread and contact the seller.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Did that yesterday. PM'd him and just waiting to get a response. Thank you! Everyone on this forum has been awesome!

POST 6Original post

I have dozens... I can match one to your old head with the casting numbers. 500 bucks takes one

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

When could I call and talk to you about the head? Would it come with good valves and springs, etc?

All my divisions are shut down until 1.4.16 It's just a used head from a core engine. It would need to be prepped however you'd like by someone that you choose. All we do is offer a pressure test of the unit.

POST 9Original post

Just sent a PM to you on the new head I have. Brand new, never been installed. Lists for $3,376, I am asking $1,500.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry for the delayed response. I just pm'd you back. Thanks!
