Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yep after a 5 month gap I have my next incarnation. A splendid MY04 (54) C4S Cab in Seal Grey and black leather. As well as a PSE, it has list of goodies that would wear out my keyboard. Can't wait for Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RB

POST 2Original post

Well done Ron! Welcome back to the madhouse!! [ ] [ ] Sounds a lovely car - photos soon, please!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yep Richard, I will get some up as soon as I can

POST 4Original post

Nice one! PSE will have you chuckling for ages.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Your absolutely right Rob, Took the car from East Sussex to Hertfordshire today via the Dartford Tunnel - Chuckle? I was laughing out loud. Mrs wasn't though! she got a tad cold with all the windows down - Bless!!!!

POST 6Original post

Its well documented that PSE leads to a sharp drop in fuel economy and a stiff neck... from the amount of time you spend with the windows open nailing it past high walls! One thing- the factory fit PSE has a pesky eco-friendly autoswitching feature which 'silences' the system between 30-50mph which is a shame. I understand it can be easily disabled, but not sure how- someone here may know, or speak to your local specialist. Mine was done by Northway.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Seeing I have a carbon footprint the size of Tunbridge Wells a little more won't matter - I ll get it done! I will get some pics posted when I can but I am away on business for a week in the States so as soon as I can I will get some done on my return. RB

You can disconnect the speed signal wire to the relay, or there is a diode you can cut in the relay itself. There is a DIY on Renntech: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2470
