Just traded my 718 Boxster S for a 991.2 Carrera S. On start-up, the air con comes on as default and I have to manually turn off. Also, in the multi-function display, it defaults to Vehicle Information so I have to manually change it to my preferred Trip Computer. Previous cars always defaulted to Air Con Off and Trip Computer when starting up. Anyone advise me please on how to change these settings. I thought I could set up as such using the seat memory package but doesn't seem to work. Think I'm a bit thick.

In the vehicle menu, check to see what your auto memory setting is (Vehicle > Settings > Locking). Auto memory can be helpful because if it's off the car restores literally everything from the last time you saved your settings to the #3 (key) memory button. This includes everything from ambient lighting brightness to audio bass/treble/fader settings. It's a bit annoying because with auto memory on, if someone adjusts your seat - that will be recalled later but with auto memory off, any changes you make (including temp) are forgotten as soon as you return to your car.
