Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

First - Car: 1999 C2, 6Speed I'm asking the group collective here, because I'm really bad at calculating wheel offsets and understanding how it all works. I found these wheels that I really like the looks of, and even more importantly - I like the price of: Titan 7 Wheels - T-M20 They sell them in a "Boxster Variant" that has the following specs: 18x8, +48 Front / 18x10 +35 Rear I really want to keep 18" wheels on this car, as I like the extra tire, and I think 19" just look weird on these cars. I currently have turbo-look wheels (18x7.5 and 18x10) with 15mm spacers all around. I love the flush look this car currently has, and I get no rubbing. I'm unsure what the current offsets are. Would those Titan 7 wheels be too aggressive without spacers? Or would they get pretty similar flush to what I have currently? Or would I still want to run smaller spacers on them? I get that the rear will push out a bit more, but I'm willing to buy new spacers to keep the flush look. Overall, just looking for some advice. These wheels look great, they seem nice quality and the price is pretty affordable. Thanks,

POST 2Original post

With the factory 18 rears having a 65 offset I think rears with a 38 are going to never fit correctly. Rich

POST 3Original post

Rears wont work and the fronts are 9 which would mean too large of a tire in the front with a 10 in the back.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Good info - Thanks for the help! Looks like I'll keep hunting for BBS wheels or maybe commit to some Apex wheels that will fit.

POST 5Original post

You could message them and ask for a 996 C2 offset. They have a bunch of odd models in there already, maybe they would make a pattern for you and add it to the list.

POST 6Original post

I added new wheels from Apex last week, the forged 18" EC7RS. I got the GT3 configuration 18x9" ET46 and 18x11" ET60. tires are 235/40-18 and 295/30-18. Direct bolt on and they look and fit great. Tires are Michelin Pilot Pro 4s. edit: my car is a 1999 C2.

From their website... Don't believe some dude from the internet I added a cropped pic from this weekend that gives a better idea of flushness.
