Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Anyone recommend a good supplier which actually has stock?

I bought one of those leads off fleabay to use on my cdr-23, it doesn't work!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thanks Daniel,
I am actually. I tried one of the Dension things that refused to work with my CDR-22 head unit and ended up sending it back for a refund. While this isn't AS good as one of those, it's near enough......
I was getting to the point of thinking about getting a new head unit....
Regards,
Jeff
Jeff, better to get a Becker unit from the Traffic Pro range and get the benefits of integrated sat nav and ipod compatability with that OEM Porsche look, as the crd-22 is just too weak, regards
Did you enable the Aux input on the unit? You have to get into the menu for it somehow by holding down one of the buttons for 8 seconds when you turn on the unit.
If after enabling the Aux in it still didn't work I'll save my money.
Ta.
I only found that one out digging through the internet trying to get the damn Dension thing working. It was hard to get it to go as well. I think enabling Aux disables the CD-Changer as well.....
Regards,
Jeff
I'm seriously considering going for the Becker 7990 unit as I already have a Tomtom to get me lost. Anyone recommend a good supplier which actually has stock?
Thanks all,
Jeff
there are a few options on a google search
http://www.caraudiodiscount.com/acatalog/becker_grand_prix.html
but who ever you get make sure they have the Becker iPOD lead in stock !
Note, the lead only works up to 4th Gen of Ipods which was a 40GB drive.
I've got an Ipod nano 1st gen. I think it will work with it right .... however will I get caught out later.... maybe they will release a new adapter later to support the newer Ipods....
Thanks.
This maybe what I have ??
Is it a Beker Grand Prix ? I bought one for mine as I wanted the Blue Tooth..
I will check which I have when I get home tonight !
Daniel you do have the grand prix (as do i, unless you've changed it since).
Got mine from Car audio discount as per link above and saved around £70 on most places i'd seen. quick service too.
don;t forget to ask for the orange/yellow backlight too, keeps the OEM feel in the car (they also do red, green blue etc)
Damn it. I have contacted them and they can't confirm if it would work or not with a 1st gen nano. I will therefore not be buying at this ponit because I can be sure it won't work. It's my luck ......
Regards,
Jeff
It's most likely that at the time of printing your manual, Apple were only up to the 4th generation iPod. It doesn't necessarily preclude later generations that came out after the manual was printed... ...
