Hey There: I wanted to get your input on what to use to keep my magnetic numbers on the car. Last season second session my one number plate blew off. Some are using the green painters tape on the leading edge, I wanted to try and find a clear removable tape I could use that would stay on, including in the rain, and not damage the paint when I take it off. It's not available in clear AFAIK, but you can't go wrong with gaffer's tape. Strong adhesive but usually leaves no residue when it's removed. I think you'd find that leading edge tape's adhesive is too aggressive for you.
