This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Nice find. Now I know why my oil level stays on after a fill up. Always thought it was just random.

POST 3Original post

Cool. Thanks for sharing Dennis. I like the part where they show the guards red car and talk about the extra 25 hp they pack into all guards red cars they produce. Little known fact.

POST 5Original post

We don't recall getting that video Did they change the function of using the key to unlock the doors at some point? That's obviously a 99, but our 01 will sound it's alarm if you don't turn the ignition to On in a short period after using the key to unlock the car. I wonder how many owners actually followed the 15k OCI? Thought that was ludicrous when we bought it and still think it was ludicrous...

My '02 works the same as your '01. I don't remember the '99 being that way though.

Thanks for the video! Learn something new everyday .

POST 10Original post

I watched that video in Sept. of '06 when I came home with my '99 C2. I thought if Hurley H. liked the 996, it must be good enough for me. I am the 3rd owner and also the longest owner, and have added only 35k miles to the 35K miles on the odometer when I purchased it. Still enjoy telling people it's almost 17 years old. Thanks for the post.

POST 11Original post

And they got Starship Capt. Jean Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) to narrate! That's about as classy as you can get!

No 'Porsche signature' left hand ignition key over here, that's why I'm so slow at racing starts - gear stick is still in the same place mind you! Good vid Thanks
