I get squeeking from my soft top (never use the hard top) and was recommended to use the same lubricant that curtain rails need on most areas of the soft top, and I wonder if it can be used on the joins where the hard top meets the body?

Just got the 01 C4 cab and loving it. Every schoolboy dreams of having a Porsche, now its happened! One question, when using the hard top I get a creaking noise from the roof when I go over bumps. Anyone know if there is anything I can do to stop it? Cheers Tim

Cant remember if its silicone lube or silicone free (wow - isnt this a helpful reply!). Apologies for lack of memory. If you go to Robert Dyas (Ironmongers) or any hardware store, ask for the spray used to lube curtain rails and pray that the spotty YTS kid knows what you're after.
