Can anyone recommend the best cleaner to use on the interior trim...i don't want to spray it with something and find it goes all glossy or greasy.

I have used baby wipes before, if you can use them on a babies skin, then they will be fine on leather.

Suggestion

On pale leather seats where jean colour has rubbed off, they seem to do a pretty good job of taking it all off along with other general use, just wipe dry with some kitchen roll after.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've noticed on the Cayman after only 400 miles a few marks on the doors ( internally) which i think are from where hands have touched or arms have been rested while driving. Nothing terrible but quite visible on the black interior. Not noticed it before on my other Porkies. Can anyone recommend the best cleaner to use on the interior trim...i don't want to spray it with something and find it goes all glossy or greasy. BTW - 2 weeks since i got the Cayman and the smile has not diminished yet

POST 2Original post

Congrats on the car, Caymans are seriously good cars, the balance is superb when pushing hard. I have used baby wipes before, if you can use them on a babies skin, then they will be fine on leather. On pale leather seats where jean colour has rubbed off, they seem to do a pretty good job of taking it all off along with other general use, just wipe dry with some kitchen roll after. I think the marks you are talking about, are just from dry skin.
